SUB 638 - Mitchell Co BWA - Discolored Water

Dear Customer, This is a message from Corix Utilities Texas, your local water provider for the Mitchell County Water System at 1-877-718-4396.

Operations has brought the new pump station online and we continue to see improvements in pressure within the water system. As anticipated, this has caused some discolored water throughout the system. Our staff continues to flush to resolve this issue.

The precautionary boil water advisory for the water system remains active at this time. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source.
