Customer Service Updates Coming for Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana Customers

Dear Valued Customer,

At Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana, we are proud to deliver vital, safe, and reliable services which enable our communities to thrive. Our commitment to you is built on an over 40-year legacy of service. Over that time, we have made numerous improvements to the essential water and wastewater systems that serve you. This message outlines some exciting changes for our customers!

We’ve grown! We are excited to share that through a merger at our parent company that was completed last year, our operations in Louisiana were expanded to include water service in and around the Village of French Settlement. And, on May 1, 2025, Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana and French Settlement Water Company, Inc. will merge to form one company. In your service area, we will continue to be known as Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana.

New look! As we look to the future, we are refreshing our brand to better reflect Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana. Soon, we will reveal a new logo. This brand refresh is a first step for several customer service updates coming your way! In the coming weeks we will be sharing additional information, including important steps our customers will need to take.

What else is changing?
1. Our website is being refreshed to provide customers with a better online experience. The new site will launch in the coming months, and will support access to information pertaining to how to read their bill, local rates and more.

2. Your bill design will be updated. Key information including the due date, amount due, and messages will be prominently displayed. We expect the new layout to be available for your May bill.

3. To further support customer service, our online self-service platform will transition to new technology. Customers will need to re-register to manage their account online, select notification channels and other preferences. We will communicate more about this closer to May 1, so you have the information you need to complete these important steps.

Note: For the small group of customers who currently receive water service from French Settlement Water Company, Inc., and wastewater service from Utilities, Inc. of Louisiana, your accounts will be merged, and you will have the convenience of one bill, one account management system and more!

Please, “pardon our dust” as we make these changes and be sure to read our updates in the weeks ahead as we prepare for our transition on May 1. We will be communicating with customers via email, bill inserts and web postings. Our call handlers will also have important information to be able to assist you.
