Wintercrest, Plantation, and Olewoods Subdivisions - boil water advisory

We have issued a boil water advisory for the Wintercrest/Plantation/Olewoods subdivisions, due to a contractor’s boring crew hitting our water main.

All of these systems are tied together and we are currently working to isolate these systems and hope to lift this advisory as soon as possible.

Customers will experience periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system. Repairs are expected to take a few hours to complete, barring no complications. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increase the potential for back siphonage and the introduction of bacteria into the water system.

As a precaution, we are issuing a boil water advisory until further notice. Please boil your water vigorously for at least 1 minute before drinking or cooking with it. You will receive a follow-up message when this advisory is lifted.
