END DATE:

Communities under this advisory are listed at the bottom of this notification:
This is a courtesy message from Carolina Water Service Inc. of North Carolina, your local water provider for the Western N.C. region.
Due to the impact of power outages, downed trees, and landslides, some of our customers may not have water service. We are working hard to restore service to our customers.
Once the water service is restored, you should boil all water before consuming it. If you currently have water service, please also adhere to this Boil Water Advisory. Vigorous boiling for one minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water. The North Carolina Division of Water Resources Public Water Supply Section has been contacted concerning this event.
This office is strongly urging water consumers to conserve water whenever possible. Customers will be notified by a second phone notification message once the boil advisory has been rescinded.
If you should have any questions or concerns, please contact our Customer Experience Team at 1-800-525-7990 or using your My Utility Account (MUA) application.
