Water Conservation Tips 

• Find and Fix Water Leaks: Ten percent of homes have water leaks that waste 90 gallons or more per day! Find and fix easily corrected household leaks to save on your water bill. 

• Keep Wipes Out of the Pipes: So-called “flushable” wipes do not belong in the toilet. They don’t break down like toilet paper and can cause significant damage to your plumbing and wastewater treatment system. 

• Choose Water-Saving Plumbing Fixtures: Modern low-flow faucets and showerheads can help you save water without compromising on water pressure. Visit the EPA website to search for the WaterSense-labeled fixtures that meet your needs. 

• Optimize Your Sprinkler System: This spring, take time to make sure your sprinkler system is ready for irrigation season. Check for leaks, faulty sprinkler heads, and set your timer to water only in the early morning and evening. Visit the EPA’s sprinkler spruce-up page for step-by-step instructions. 

• Switch to Paperless Billing: Paperless billing is secure, convenient, and environmentally-friendly! Cut back on paper clutter by making the switch to Paperless. Log into My Utility Account and update your billing preferences or contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
