Westgate Hydrant Flushing 4-21-25 - 4-25-25

Hello. This is a courtesy message from Community Utilities of Pennsylvania - Westgate, your local water utility provider at 1-800-638-0262. This message is to inform you that we will be conducting hydrant flushing within your water distribution system Monday, April 21, 2025, through Friday, April 25, 2025, between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm.

During this flushing process, you may experience periods of lower than normal water pressure or possible discolored water. We would ask that you please refrain from using your water as much as possible during this time to reduce the possibility of drawing cloudy or discolored water into your service lines.

Once the flushing is completed, normal water quality and pressure will be restored to your home. Should you experience any water quality issues following this work, we would ask that you please try flushing your cold water line for approximately 2-3 minutes. If this does not improve the quality, please contact us immediately.
